      Xsens MTw Awinda

      Xsens MTw Awinda – Highly accurate, small and lightweight 3D human wireless motion tracker. Easy to integrate wireless human motion tracker for real-time applications. Used in a body area network, these portable and unobtrusive wireless trackers are ideal for developing customized wearable solutions. The Awinda radio protocol ensures time-synchronization better than 10 µs between each MTw on a wireless body area network.

        System Integration

        Integration with the MTw is very straightforward with the Xsens MT Software Suite. The MT Software Suite is an easy-to-use API which can be interfaced with via a COM, C and C++ interface with support for Windows and Linux. The components of the MT Software Suite are:

        Xsens Device API Easy to use Xsens Device API to communicate with the MTw Awinda interfaces for common programming languages.
        Example code Example code To make starting with the MTw even easier, example code is provided for various platforms, amongst others Matlab and Linux.
        MT Manager An intuitive GUI for Windows, including configuration and recording tools, graphs and a wireless configuration setup to help understand the Xsens Awinda System.
        Magnetic Field Mapper Magnetic Field Mapper An algorithm and tool to calibrate the MTw for hard and soft iron effects. The calibration can be done during normal operation; there are no restrictions on the trajectories or rotations.
