Features
Live stream all data
MVN Animate’s proprietary motion capture software can live-stream all data to your third-party 3D package, such as Unreal, Unity, Maya, or MotionBuilder. It can also export data in your preferred format.
Multi-actor capture
Connect up to 4 systems for multi-actor capturing. Combine with Xsens Metagloves or StretchSense gloves to track fingers movements. You can also make use of 3D position aiding systems like HTC Vive.
Real-time visualization
As the go-to software for professional motion capture, MVN Animate makes light work of calibration, real-time visualization, playback, and reprocessing, for efficient workflows and fast turnaround times.
What can you do with MVN Animate?
A lot. Real-time 3D animation, data streaming, and reference video recording. The software has built-in timecode and remote-control plugins, handles data rates up to 158 Mb/min, and exports to formats such as ASCII (HTML), C3D, BVH, MVNX, FBX, and movie containers like AVI and M4V.

Xsens’ proprietary HD Reprocessing Engine gives you the best quality motion capture data available in the market. The processed data is instantly ready to be integrated into your animation pipeline.
MVN Animate Pro offers HD reprocessing locally. Additionally, you can make use of MVN Processing in/on MotionCloud to process your motion capture data from wherever you are – and share it with your team, wherever they are.

Free MVN Record, and license-based MVN Animate Plus and Pro are available to cover different needs and budgets. Additional features are added at each product level.
MVN Record
An MVN Record subscription is completely free and enables you to do motion capture with one actor and record the files. It’s ideal if you have multiple systems in multiple locations.
To export and process your data, with enhanced performance, you can add MVN Processing in Xsens MotionCloud.
MVN Animate Plus
Take a step up with MVN Animate Plus. Support two actors, and get top-quality live streaming into your chosen game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, etc). Perfect for virtual influencer performances in real time, on platforms like Twitch and YouTube.
