No. The EinScan Libre is an all-in-one device featuring a built-in NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX processor and a 5.5-inch OLED screen. You can scan, process, edit, and export data directly on the device without connecting to an external computer.

The scanner is highly versatile. It can handle small objects (minimum approximately 5 cm) using the high-detail Laser HD mode, up to large industrial assets (over 10m) using the IR Rapid or IR Adaptive modes.

The IR Adaptive Mode is specifically designed for challenging materials like reflective metal, shiny plastics, and black surfaces. It uses 38 IR laser lines to ensure accurate data capture where other structured light scanners may struggle.

The EinScan Libre supports export in common formats directly on the device, including STL, OBJ, ASC, and LAS, making the data ready for most CAD, inspection, and 3D printing software.
